The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra Review

The amazing Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra has not been left alone in Xiaomi’s exciting race to take that step forward in the high-end range in 2021. keep reading review !

The Xiaomi 11T Pro is the new smartphone of the Chinese company, Xiaomi, the most ambitious of the new family that loses the Mi surname to establish itself as a Xiaomi terminal from which its best smartphones will evolve from now. And as it is more and more common, we cannot talk about one more terminal in the Xiaomi catalogue for several (and powerful) reasons. We have tested it to verify it.

A “made in Xiaomi” design

The very thin line that delimits a high-end smartphone of the franchise model of each brand may begin to be defined by the most differentiated design. At least, that is what happens with Xiaomi‘s extensive 11 families.

After the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Ultra, the latter boasting of a design-focused entirely on its camera module, the design of the new Xiaomi 11T Pro is closer to that of its little brothers in the RedMi family than to the manufacturer’s reference models.

This is not bad news at all—just a matter of some personality and differentiation. The Xiaomi 11T Pro is presented with a great body and the characteristic curvature of the back, made of glass. The frame is made of aluminum in the same tone as the rear.

My 11t Pro Rear

In the front design, in addition to a reduction in frames that is only notable, the lack of continuity of the different layers from the frame to the screen is noticeable, which is protected with Gorilla Glass Victus.

The Xiaomi 11T Pro is a terminal that we can consider large, with the usual handling limitations of a terminal with a screen larger than 6.5 inches, but I liked it a lot in hand. It gives us a feeling of lightness (the official weight is 204 grams), and it is very pleasant due to its 8.8 mm thickness, nuanced by the curved finish and not excessive width.

The Xiaomi 11T Pro is quite manageable and has a good grip despite its size.

The touch of the glass on the back is correct, and I did not find it slippery at all, so, overall, it offers a very secure grip.

The fingerprint reader on the side button and stereo speakers

The Xiaomi 11T Pro is committed to placing the fingerprint reader on the side power button.

If we continue on the sides, we only have to look at the right, where the power button and the volume controls are placed. In both cases, the touch and route are correct.

We are now on the power button, slightly curved and very soft to the touch, so we are not lazy to touch it. At the end of the day is where we find the fingerprint reader. The situation is very slightly above the midpoint of the lateral, which in my case means that it is not so direct to place the finger to identify ourselves in it.

The reading of our fingerprint is reliable and fast (it is enough to place the finger on it, without pressing, although we can configure it so that it is only activated when pressed), but it is always advisable also to have face recognition activated to ensure the fastest possible identification.

The upper speaker has an important specialist in the design of this Xiaomi 11T Pro.

Already at the top of the phone are the infrared port and the second stereo speaker, which has special relevance in the overall sound of the equipment, which is also certified by Harman / Kardon.

Finally, it should be mentioned that the rear protrudes a handicap to use the screen when the terminal is resting on the table because with the touch of the fingers, there is an obvious rocking of the device.

Placing ourselves in a price range that starts at 650 euros, the screen can no longer be just anybody.

An interior led by the Snapdragon 888

Xiaomi plays it safe with the interior of its new 11T Pro. Its reputation and value for years as an excellent assembler of the best hardware components on the market is something that it maintains over time, even from very low ranges.

The Snapdragon 888 is the king of the party, adding a fixed amount of 8 GB RAM for the market and an internal memory of 128 and 256 GB (UFS 3.1).

With that starting point and the refresh as mentioned above, the rate of 120 HZ, the fluidity of the Xiaomi 11T Pro is total on a day-to-day basis, whether browsing with many tabs, playing games or simply enjoying its interface. At the level of benchmarks, the figures have not finished accompanying, and even in some past with certain graphic benchmarks, the test stopped due to excessive heating of the device.

MIUI layer 12.5 is already mature enough, and in fact, it already has a successor that will arrive in the coming months to offer us a complete and satisfactory experience. And more in a high-end terminal like this Xiaomi 11T Pro, where we have not experienced any lag, and we should only mention the closure of the camera application when we abused the video, and the terminal ended up overheating.

Triple camera with 108 MP sensor that plays it safe

The Xiaomi 11T Pro repeats the strategy of the base model of the family, the Mi 11, in the camera section. We have three main cameras, with the 108 MP sensor leading the way. The difference is marked by the wide-angle, which in this model is 8 MP compared to the 13 MP of the model 11 to dry. A 5 MP telemacro sensor completes the camera trio.
